Ian Maurice, affectionately known as "The Bear" and one of Australia's most experienced and respected radio and television entertainers. With his smiling face seen on all three commercial television networks on a variety of programs, The Today Show, Wide World of Sports, Sports Sunday, the evening news and Channel 7's 'Sunrise' program.
Ian is in constant demand to MC special events, hosting and performing at numerous corporate functions and fund raising events for many charities.
Ian loves to entertain and at every opportunity will be up in front of a small group or big band churning out the songs that people love. Ian appears in one man shows or as the main performer in his "Melodies and Mayhem" variety shows.
Ian was a regular performer on the long time running Midday Show and Bert Newton's Good Morning Australia on Channel 10. He also appears live in many and varied venues around Australia. Ian was chosen to open the Melbourne & Gold Coast concerts, for Al Jarreau, 'Five Time Award Winning Jazz / Crossover Legend'.
